Robert Burnett studied construction at Liverpool University, and worked as a site engineer for Balfour Beatty. Robert’s sister, Sarah Nelson, worked as a senior buyer for two major high street fashion retailers.
In 2001, Robert and Sarah decided to go into business together and started a London based concierge company – looking after the needs of busy professionals. Many clients asked for help managing building projects. Most of those projects involved kitchens.
On one occasion, the kitchen company engaged by the client went out of business. Robert redesigned the kitchen, manufactured and installed it. The kitchen was featured in magazines, the client referred friends and family and a kitchen company was born.
Every kitchen project requires building work, even if it’s only plumbing, electrics and redecoration. Most kitchens can be improved by moving or removing walls or adding an extension. Robert’s construction training combined with Sarah’s project management experience, make them well equipped to design and deliver kitchen projects as a whole, including all related building work.
