We designed this kitchen and pantry for a property in Surrey, showcasing our in-frame Ludlow range of cabinetry, chosen for its timeless detailing and elegant proportions. The adjoining utility room features our sleek Linear range, creating a clean, practical space that complements the main kitchen.

Through intelligent spatial planning and a sensitive balance of heritage character and contemporary functionality, the scheme redefines the heart of this home, creating a cohesive, open-plan environment that is both highly practical and quietly luxurious.
The kitchen doors are finished with a hand-painted finish in Farrow & Ball Railings, while the pantry doors are hand-painted in Farrow & Ball Pavilion Gray, adding subtle contrast and depth.
The kitchen is completed with Calacatta Nuvo quartz worktops, and the utility and pantry feature solid natural oak worktops for warmth and texture.
Ceiling height was a key consideration within the original kitchen footprint, prompting a careful approach to tall cabinetry. By recessing the fridge into the pantry wall and placing tall glazed units either side, the design introduces visual depth and soft, atmospheric lighting without overwhelming the space. The result is a kitchen that feels balanced and considered, despite its generous storage capacity.
The adjoining pantry and back kitchen play a vital supporting role in the design, housing a secondary sink, bins and additional food storage to keep the main kitchen calm and clutter-free. This hardworking zone allows for efficient preparation and clean-up whilst preserving the kitchen’s primary role as a welcoming space.
Now positioned as the natural centre of the home, the kitchen connects seamlessly with a newly built timber extension beyond, which replaces an outdated conservatory and provides a spacious living and dining area better suited to the scale of the property.
