Who we are

This website is operated by Holloways of Ludlow Design & Build Limited, trading as Kitchens by Holloways, registered in England and Wales under company number 06220000. Our registered office is 75 Sheen Lane, Mortlake, London SW14 8AD, and our principal place of business is Hartley Business Centre, 272–284 Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury SY2 5ST. We are part of the Holloways of Ludlow group of companies.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, or want to exercise any of the rights set out below, please contact us at kitchens@hollowaysofludlow.com.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, and the details of your message.

When you request our brochure, we collect your name, email address and postal address, your telephone number if you provide one, whether you would like it by email or by post, whether you are an architect or interior designer, and roughly when your project might start.

When you ask us for a consultation, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and the address of the property you are working on, the day and time you would prefer, and anything you tell us about the project. We use the address to put you with the designer and showroom nearest to you. When you look your address up by postcode, the search is carried out for us by Ideal Postcodes; we send them the postcode you type and nothing else.

If you agree to analytics and advertising cookies, we collect information about how the site is used, such as the pages you visit and roughly where in the world you are, and Meta records that your browser has visited this site and whether you went on to make an enquiry. None of this identifies you by name to us. If you arrive from one of our emails and have accepted cookies, Popcorn, our email marketing provider, records which pages you go on to visit so we know what interested you.

We do not take payments through this website, and we do not ask for card or bank details on it.

How we use your information

We use the details you send us to reply to your enquiry, to arrange and confirm a consultation, to prepare and discuss a design, and to carry out work you ask us to do. Where you have asked us for something, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you, or on the steps necessary to enter into a contract with you.

We only send marketing about our work to people who have asked to receive it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by replying to any message from us or contacting us directly, and we will stop.

We use analytics only where you have accepted cookies, to understand which parts of the site are useful and which are not. Where you have accepted cookies, we also use Meta's advertising tools so that our Facebook and Instagram adverts can be shown to people who have visited this site, and so we can tell which adverts lead to enquiries.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own. When you first visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Popcorn. If you choose essential only, no analytics or marketing cookies are set and no information is sent to Google, Meta or Popcorn. If you allow them, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used, Meta Pixel sets cookies that let Meta recognise your browser on Facebook and Instagram, and Popcorn stores an identifier in your browser so that, if you arrived from one of our emails, it can record which pages you visit. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies link in the footer.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where we need to. Enquiries, consultation requests and brochure requests are delivered to us by email through Resend, our email provider. Postcode lookups are carried out by Ideal Postcodes. Analytics information, where you have agreed to it, is processed by Google. Advertising information, where you have agreed to it, is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland, which acts as our joint controller for that data under its own privacy policy. Visits following one of our emails, where you have agreed to it, are recorded by Popcorn, our email marketing provider.

We may also share information with our professional advisers and insurers where we are required to, and with suppliers and trades working on your project where that is necessary to carry out the work. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

The website and its database are hosted on servers in the European Union.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, consultation requests and brochure requests for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Where we hold records relating to work we have carried out, we keep them for as long as we need to meet our legal and insurance obligations.

We review what we hold from time to time and delete information we no longer need.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and in many cases to have it deleted. You can also object to us using it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be provided in a portable form.

To make any of these requests, email kitchens@hollowaysofludlow.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so that we can put things right.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
